“Love is a combination of care, commitment, knowledge, responsibility, respect and trust” (Bell Hooks).
Stories of grief, hope and resources to support them.
Kickstart courage into your day!
In therapy you have the freedom to be curious about your journey and encouraged to be bold about countering any narrative that no longer serves the highest you. I’m David D. Robertson, Founder and Executive Director of Hope Is Foundation, Social Work Technologist for the Center for Prolonged Grief at Columbia University School of Social Work, courage researcher, and therapist. I partner with children and families, students, people who have experienced childhood trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, faith based communities, corporations, the queer community and other marginalized identities.
I meet clients and groups where they are and my initial goal is to provide a brave space to support clients in identifying what they want to change in their lives and the goals to make it a reality. I believe through encouragement every client can succeed. I am honored to be an active participant in your wellness journey. It is my hope that you go from good to great!
